Each K2 Scientific High-Performance freezer features the K2 Scientific Monoblock Cooling System. The entire cooling system is housed in a one-piece unit that can be easily replaced in 20 minutes without a freezer technician. The K249SDF features an intelligent microprocessor controller with digital display and adjustable temperature control, with a temperature stability of +0.88°C and-1.87°C  from the set point.

It uses environmentally friendly, natural refrigerants that are fully compliant with new EPA/SNAP/UL regulations.
